Electrical & Electronic Services

The following services are provided for general electrical/electronic  repairs and replacements:


Electrical (120 Volt AC):

  • Cover plates.
  • Light switches.
  • Wall receptacles.
  • Wall lighting.
  • Outside lighting.
  • Ceiling fans and lighting.
  • Bathroom exhaust fans and lighting.
  • Small appliance and table lamp assembly and wiring issues.
  • Testing GFCI receptacle circuits for proper tripping. 
  • Checking regular and GFCI receptacles for proper wiring. 
  • Tracing electrical circuits back to fuse boxes and labeling correctly.
  • For other services that are not listed above, feel free to ask.


Electronic (Low Voltage AC/DC/Battery):

  • Wired and wireless doorbells. (Some wired doorbell transformers are mounted within electrical panels and RCS will not be able to service them since it requires removing the panel cover plates).
  • Alarm systems.
  • Video cameras and accessories.
  • Low voltage outside lighting.
  • For other services that are not listed above, feel free to ask.


NOTE - These are situations when I will recommend having a licensed person do the work:

  • Your home is located in Middletown or Hamilton Ohio.
  • When main breaker panel and sub-panel cover plates need to be removed.
  • The installation of new electrical circuits. 
  • Situations in which older home wiring has insulation flaking off.
  • Installing and programming smart thermostats. (Depending on your cooling/heating system type, some have many more control wires instead of the legacy Heating, Cooling and Fan wires. If these are not wired and configured properly by a certified HVAC person, damage and/or higher energy costs could be the result.)
